Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities: Interview with Professor Peter Wasserscheid
Prof. Peter Wasserscheid speaks about how hydrogen technology can contribute to the energy transition.
Hydrogen has a particularly high energy density. It is burned without leaving any harmful emissions, only water remains. This makes it the perfect fuel of the future, in which the reduction of greenhouse gases becomes more and more important. Research in this area, as it is also carried out at HI ERN, makes a decisive contribution to the energy transition.
In the podcast of the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities Prof. Peter Wasserscheid, founding director of HI ERN, talks about opportunities and challenges of hydrogen technology.
Since 2003, Prof. Peter Wasserscheid has been holding the chair for the Institute of Chemical Reaction Engineering at FAU. Since last year he has been a full member of the academy's scholarly community.
Furthermore, in the interview Prof. Peter Wasserscheid talks about the personal drive to have dedicated his research life to the subject of hydrogen.
