Research interest
Using renewable energy to convert CO2 to fuels and commodity chemicals is a value-added approach to simultaneous generation of products and environmental remediation of carbon emissions. The electrochemical conversion of CO2 has promise to help overcome several of the challenges facing the implementation of carbon-neutral energy sources because it provides a means of storing renewable electricity in a convenient, high energy-density form.
