Carolin Prössl will study platinum oxidation and dissolution using single crystal electrodes. The latter is a part of our DFG funded project in a collaboration with Prof. Dr. Olaf Magnussen. We aim at understanding Pt oxidation/dissolution on the atomistic level. For this we are going to use our on-line ICP-MS techniques (see Methods and Equipment in combination with synchrotron X-ray methods.
