Congratulations, Dr. Andreas Reichert!
Andreas concluded his doctoral dissertation entitled “Exploitation of Exhaust Gases: Selective Electrochemical Conversion of Carbon-Oxides to Commodity Chemicals as Part of the P2X-concept”.
He was part of the Kopernikus project and investigated novel catalyst materials for the electrochemical reduction of CO2 to valuable commodity chemicals. For this purpose, he developed an electrolyzer which he coupled to several analytical techniques. Being the second Ph.D. candidate in the group, Andreas has contributed a great deal to setting up the laboratory and keeping the research running smoothly.
We wish Andreas all the best and a lot of success for his future!
