Marius is Area Chair at the 48th PVSC Conference

06/2021 - Marius is Area Chair for Area 11 "Solar Resource for PV and Forecasting" at the virtually held 48th IEEE Photovoltaic Specialists Conference (PVSC)

Due to Covid the 48th IEEE Photovoltaic Specialists Conference (PVSC) was held as a virtual meeting again from June 20th-25th. Despite this the conference was a great success and offere a full program os sessions covering various aspects of Photovoltaics.

The PVSC-48 endeavors to cover the full spectrum of PV knowledge and innovation, from the basic science and engineering of materials, devices, and systems, to the examination of policy and markets and critical issues of social impact. PVSC aims to be a highly interactive and inclusive venue for everyone, from seasoned PV experts to entry-level professionals to students alike. The conference provides a unique opportunity to meet, share, and discuss PV-related developments in a timely and influential forum. Please contribute to the PVSC's tradition as the premier international conference on PV science and technology and help usher in a solar-powered world.

This year Dr. Marius Peters is one of the co-organizers again, responsible as Area Chair in the PVSC Program Committee for Area 11 "Solar Resource for PV and Forecasting". In addition Marius is organizing two special sessions as part of the PVSC this year.

One Session covers various aspects of the application of Artificial Intelligence to the field of Photovoltaics. The contents range from applications in materials development for Perovskites to Cloud forecasting. See the program for Session 0A: AI in Photovoltaics.
