Research Interest

Julian Henseler´s research focusses on the investigation on impurities formed during production, storage, hydrogenation, and dehydrogenation of LOHC. Information on the by-product structure can lead into better understanding of by-product formation and ultimately enables effective by-product reduction. His research includes several analytical techniques including chromatographic techniques like gas or liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry.
