Research interest

My research interest at HI ERN is oriented towards the development of an efficient anodic catalyst layer for the next generation of PEM water electrolyzers. Therein, I focus on the synthesis and characterization of structured catalyst particles as well as on the investigation of the performance, size effects and loss mechanisms of these catalysts in a PEM water electrolysis cell.

Vita

Since November 2021: PhD student at the Helmholtz Institute Erlangen-Nürnberg for Renewable Energies (HI ERN).

2019-2021: M.Sc. in Nanotechnology, Friedrich-Alexander Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, Master thesis on nanoparticle-based organic solar cells.

August to October 2018: Research internship at Eckart GmbH in research & development of electrically conductive particle binder systems.

2015-2019: B.Sc. in Nanotechnology, Friedrich-Alexander Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, Bachelor thesis on nanostructured Ag/Au multilayers.
