Science Online: "Organic Photovoltaics - From Lab to Fab"
Besucherservice

The beginnings of organic photovoltaics (OPV) go back 25 years and there have been highs and lows. We operate the ‘solar factory of the future’ in Nuremberg and with the infrastructure available to us, we can help to minimise the difference between laboratory and module efficiencies through know-how and clever process development.
In his presentation, Michael Wagner from HI ERN will outline the basics of OPV. In addition to a brief history of the technology, he will shed light on the current state of science as well as the challenges and show examples of applications. There will also be a short virtual lab tour.
This lecture will be held in German.

The "Science online" format
Every week on Thursdays from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., researchers from Forschungszentrum Jülich present their work in a video conference. Short films and photos complement the format. Questions from participants and a lively exchange are expressly encouraged. The series is organized by Forschungszentrum Jülich, to which HI ERN also belongs. (more)
