Materials scientist Prof. Dr. Christoph Brabec was newly appointed director at the Institute of Energy and Climate Research – Helmholtz Institute Erlangen-Nürnberg for Renewable Energy (IEK-11). Prof. Brabec will head the subinstitute together with Prof. Dr. Mayrhofer and Prof. Dr. Wasserscheid. His research priorities include photovoltaics and printable semiconductors.
