WOCHE DES WASSERSTOFFS: The HI ERN at the H2 CityTour Erlangen

Erlangen, July 2, 2022 - The H2 CityTour in Erlangen was all about hydrogen: For example, visitors were able to find out about the span of HI ERN's research in this field at the HI ERN headquarters. Other stops in the city area could be reached comfortably and sustainably with the hydrogen shuttle bus.

The WOCHE DES WASSERSTOFFS took place at 56 locations in the south of Germany as WEEK OF HYDROGEN SOUTH 2022. The H2 City Tour Erlangen once again offered a focus on the hydrogen players from industry, science and research based in the region: Organizer H2 MOBILITY Deutschland, together with its event partners HI ERN, the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Systems and Device Technology IISB, Hydrogenious, the Zentrum Wasserstoff.Bayern (H2.B), NürnbergMesse, Siemens Energy and many more, had put together a varied program for the public, politicians and the press in Erlangen for this occasion.

For this occasion, the HI ERN opened the doors of the newly occupied headquarters on the south grounds of the campus. Conveniently accessible by hydrogen shuttle bus, visitors were able to gain exciting insights into HI ERN's research. In the exhibition, they were able to talk directly with the researchers about the technologies and possible applications of the future.
